Upon completion of this course you will be able to answer questions and solveproblems involved in the administrative aspects of an office in a medical setting. The course covers the different types of appointment scheduling, filing healthclaims under provincial health insurance plans, preparing various requisitions andreports in a hospital setting, and aspects of the law as it pertains to physicians. The course covers essential knowledge used daily, on the job, by medicaladministrative assistants and hospital ward secretaries or unit clerks. This is a single stream course.
