Upon completion of this course you will be able to answer questions and solveproblems in social welfare. This course provides an historical background anddetailed information on social services available in Canada. Detailed analysis isapplied to: aboriginal issues; women's issues' immigration and race; child povertyand globalization. Contents of the course are used daily, on the job, by socialworkers, sociologists, public administrators and politicians. This is a single stream course.
